At Happy to Help Gateshead, our aim is to support people to live independently at home in the borough, by helping people to maintain a safe, clean and comfortable environment, and to go out and about with one-to-one support and companionship. Our partners and referrers include many NHS professionals and departments, local authority, charities and specialist support organisations.

 

Our values are at the heart of what we do. We're all about compassion, flexibility and, most importantly, listening and supporting our clients and our team of home help assistants, whenever they need us.

 

Helping someone to live independently in their own homes is profoundly rewarding. We see first hand the difference it makes to the quality of life, happiness and health of those we help.
